The groover

A Townsend Turf developed machine which is PTO driven.  It consists of groover blades on a shaft that rotate and deposit the groovings into the rear catcher.  This is hydraulically opened to empty. 

The Groover Benefits:

• Great tool for bi annual cricket block renovations to remove thatch build up 
• Removing organic matter by using catcher leaves block clean 
• Creates groove lines for reseeding and fertilising
• Excellent for harvesting couch stolens
